It is to be kept lit to be looked at, rather than to look at.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=&#8221;middle&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]Since the light source plays a fundamental role in this sculpture, we opted for a low voltage dichroic bulb capable of generating a powerful and full-bodied beam of light. The transformer that powers the lamp is housed in the base, enclosed in a UFO-shaped casing whose numerous holes, in addition to fulfilling an aesthetic function, ensure perfect internal ventilation.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;80323&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=&#8221;middle&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]All the components are white, treated with a paint that gives them metallic reflections when hit by light. The horses have a shiny surface while their supports have a matte finish which makes them, as far as possible, almost invisible. The latter are made of different materials: the lateral ones in metal carry the current to the lamp, the central one in plastic material insulates the other two and supports the body of the animal positioned higher up.
