In the September 1997 issue of Abitare magazine, an extensive article dedicated to the “Di porta to porta” (From door to door) competition, organized by the Lualdi Porte company and by the ADI, the Italian Association for Industrial Design, with the aim of trying to reinvent the door.

Among the projects illustrated in the article there is also the one presented by a very young Raffaele Iannello, entitled “Di porta in sedia” (From door to chair), who received the special prize for students. The competition was in fact also intended for professionals, who instead competed for the first, second and third prize.

The award ceremony for the competition took place in Milan, at the ADI headquarters, where all the tables of the projects chosen by the jury were exhibited.
