Galactic Pinup

Designed by Raffaele Iannello and produced by Slamp, the Galactic Pinup lamps depict the American pinup girls of the 50s in an ironic and irreverent way, in this case imagined in an extraterrestrial version.

In the first version, the alien pinup is clearly embarrassed and is therefore depicted as she frantically tries to hide her nudity from the rest of the universe. In the second, however, the same pinup is depicted in an uninhibited version… to the point of showing herself, with an amused and winking attitude, in all her luminous alien splendour.

The body of the lamp is made of Opalflex, an exclusive patented material obtained through a mixture of polymers and glass crystals. The side structures are instead in aluminium, held together by steel screws and rivets.
