Evening Standard
The website of the Evening Standard, a popular London free newspaper in tabloid format, talks about the Voodoo / The Ex knife set and the controversy that activist Ann Oakes-Odge has sparked against the Selfridges store accused of selling the famous product designed by Raffaele Iannello.
It is not the first time that similar controversies have arisen in England. A few years earlier one of these had even ended up in parliament. The Advertising Standards Authority (the self-regulatory body that supervises the advertising sector) then asserted that it is an artistic product that does not violate any rules, does not promote violent behavior and cannot be considered in any way offensive, as instead claimed by the accusation that was found to be unfounded.
