Mostra Museu
Set up in April 2021, Mostra Museu is an exhibition on the art expressly created during the quarantine to which Covid-19 forced us. The works of 200 artists from all over the world have been selected by curator Ana Carolina Ralston in collaboration with the Covid Art Museum (CAM).
Raffaele Iannello, aka Rafz, has exhibited two works in this exhibition: Solitude and Superhero (links to the pages of the museum website). These photographic artworks are both visible on the museum website and on the streets of the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where the outdoor exhibition was set up, unable to be set in the traditional closed rooms of a museum, due to the pandemic.
Here are the two artworks on the museum’s online platform:
Solitude, photography
“The scenarios that were familiar to us before the pandemic have been transformed with the advent of the latter. I shot this photo thinking I was inside an Edward Hopper painting.”
Superhero, photography
“A look towards infinity, waiting for this pandemic to end and give us back our lives as ordinary citizens. We are all masked superheroes now.”
One of the two artworks was placed in Av. Europe 158 in Sao Paulo, in front of the MIS (Museum of Image and Sound).
