Oggetti luminosi & dialoghi incrociati
The exhibition “Oggetti luminosi & dialoghi incrociati” (Luminous Objects & Crossed Dialogues), curated by Walter Vallini, took place at the end of 2006 at the prestigious Exhibition Gallery of the Italian Cultural Institute in Lisbon, located within the ISCTE (Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa, namely the university of economic sciences of the Portuguese capital).
The artists invited to participate (Silvano Costanzo, Luca Degara, Candida Ferrari, Luciano Gaglio, Ale Guzzetti, Gumdesign, Raffaele Iannello, Simone Micheli, Gianluca Rosso, Nello Teodori, Vallini & Valente) presented their vision of Italian design applied to the light. The exhibition was, in fact, part of the Interni Italiani (Italian Interiors) festival, which spreads Italian creativity in the world.
Raffaele Iannello presented two prototypes, made by Slamp, of his Galactic Pinup lamps. A lamp depicted an alien pinup, in an obvious state of embarrassment, intent on hiding its nakedness. The other lamp, on the other hand, depicted the same female alien but this time in an uninhibited version, so much so that it showed herself in all her luminous splendor with an amused and winking touch.
