Radio Stay Rock
In the episode of the radio show Radio Stay Rock aired on 30 January 2022 (also in streaming on YouTube) the host Gianluca Mei interviewed the artist Oberlunar on the occasion of the release of his latest album Destructured Bach. Guests of the program also, in the order of appearance, the musician Morgan (founder of Bluvertigo), the visual artist Rafz (Raffaele Iannello) and the musician Johnny Dal Basso.
Rafz talked about the creative process that led to the birth of the cover of Destructured Bach, which he designed to give a visual representation to this innovative musical experiment.
Before being a musician, Oberlunar is a computer engineer and university researcher who has been using Artificial Intelligence in the biomedical field for years. To create the tracks that make up the Destructured Bach album (available on all music streaming platforms) he fed Bach’s scores to an Artificial Intelligence, specially created and trained. This intelligence then created new tracks that apparently have nothing to do with the starting input.
