The book Make Love With Design is the official catalog of the homonymous exhibition organized in Milan in 1999 to raise public awareness about the existence of the condom (at the time still considered a taboo object to be kept hidden) and to promote its conscious use and as large as possible (the spread of AIDS had just exploded).

The book contains images of all 44 condom holders made for the exhibition by famous artists and designers from all over the world. Among these, also Raffaele Iannello, who presented an irreverent project entitled “The Supreme Pleasure” (subtitle: “Practical guide to reach it”). It is a fake book that, inside, contains disposable items sealed in a vacuum bag, to be opened and used as soon as the opportunity arises.

Curated by Maria Gallo and Patrizia Ledda, this publication is not just the catalog of an exhibition, but a real book to collect. In fact, it contains the stories, written for the occasion, by famous Italian novelists (including Andrea G. Pinketts, Daniele Brolli, Antonio Caronia, Tiziano Scarpa). It is a Costa&Nolan and Phoenix co-edition.
